The allure begins with a spacious terrace including your personal Jacuzzi. Each air-conditioned suite also includes a ceiling fan, private shower, color satellite TV and DVD player, minibar and other amenities. Choose the style you prefer!
Restaurants:
Arrecifes International World Cuisine. Delightful flavors from all over the world served in an elegant air-conditioned atmosphere. With a great chef’s menu, Arrecifes offers something for everyone.
Klay Talay
One of our most popular restaurants, Klay Talay—“by the seaside” in Vietnamese—presents innovative, modern interpretations of Asian dishes in a hip, sexy atmosphere. Before taking a seat at the low-to-the-ground chabudai in a private room, guests can enjoy a drink at the outdoor cocktail lounge, where authentic Japanese beers and sake are featured. Located on the second floor of the main building, Klay Talay lives up to its name with stunning views of the Carribean.
La Carreta
With genuine décor and a menu of more than 30 tequilas—some made in-house—La Carreta’s gives guests a truly Mexican experience. Learn the finer points of Mexico’s native liquor at a tequila tasting, then treat yourself to a revelation in gourmet Mexican cuisine. Elegant furnishings and authentic art provide the ambiance to this surprising and satisfying culinary adventure.
Mia Casa
The resort’s most romantic restaurant, Mia Casa offers couples in love the ultimate dining experience. With five-star service, intimate ambiance, and a well-stocked wine cellar, Mia Casa specializes in innovative interpretations of traditional Italian cuisine. Guests enjoy an impressive wine list and farm-fresh ingredients handled with authentic expertise by our gourmet chefs. With both indoor and outdoor seating options, no visit to El Dorado Seaside Suites is complete without spending an evening here.
Vida Garden Grill
The newest addition to El Dorado Seaside Suites, Vida Garden Grill—winner of the 2008 Wine Spectator Award—presents guests with a truly unique indoor-outdoor dining experience. Completely surrounded by lush, tropical vegetation, guests sit behind nearly invisible glass walls, which provide air-conditioned protection from the elements. Guests feel like they are outside, with all the creature comforts of dining indoors. Creative, colorful culinary presentations that dance with flavor and an extensive Margarita menu invite guests to linger in this magical Garden. Sandwicherie Pizzas made to order fresh from a wood-fired oven are the stars here. You’ll also find a selection of Angus burgers and gourmet bites, along with other succulent Mexican “botana” preparations.
Guacamayas Lounge
With swinging beach beds, billowing curtains and warm sea breezes, Los Cotorros is a near-mystical beach bar. Sit back with your favorite drink and enjoy the views of the ocean and the live music.
Bars
For adult beverages on dry land, you’ll find Mexican beers, cheladas, exotic cocktails and aged Tequila at three additional bars in the resort. Two of them—Las Guacamayas and Los Cotorros—feature bar swings. Swim-up bars Nothing says “vacation” quite like a swim-up bar. We have three, all serving international premium liquors, Mexican and other world-class beers and specialty cocktails. Enjoy the sounds of the waterfall and singing birds at Gaviota Swim-up Bar and Lounge. Also featuring Arrecifes, and Colibri swim up bars
Activities:
Whether it's getting in a game of tennis, exploring the nearby reefs, or a meditative session of yoga, at the the El Dorado Seaside you’ll find an activity that suits your style and completes your day—or night. Our pristine beach is one of our prime attractions, and swimming in the blue Caribbean waters is a special treat. With three freshwater pools and a lazy river winding around the resort, there are man-made options too. Non-motorized water sports include kayaking and snorkeling. With the second-largest coral reef in the world just offshore, snorkeling is a popular option. Fitness options abound, with a complete fitness center, tennis courts, aqua aerobics and outdoor yoga sessions. At night we have a full slate of activities too, including live music, dancing and performances. Adventurous guests can arrange to explore the Mayan ruins, go deep-sea fishing or scuba diving, or take in some serious shopping at the nearby local towns.
